This is a food and wine festival in Washington DC to raise money for homeless assistance programs. It has been organized for 25 years now, and some awesome restaurants take part of it. You basically buy tickets and get to try whatever your little heart desires.
In my marriage, I'm the one who comes up with new things to do, and Keith just goes along (and drives!! Lol). So I dragged him to this fun festival and we got to sample various seafood dishes (my favorite) and get some sweets from Georgetown Cupcakes (I LOVE that place!).
If you are a foodie, you should try to go to the Taste of Georgetown next year, it's not too crowded, the food is really good, and Georgetown is such a fun place to visit.
