Darryll and his bride Carol traveled from North Carolina to Virginia to have a small, intimate wedding at my favorite plantation, Belle Grove. There were only some relatives and their closest friends in attendance. The weather was quite challenging right before their big day (inches and inches of snow!), but that didn't stop them! Tamara Riley from No Ordinary Ordained married them, and she suggested that Darryll's father led the ceremony. I thought it was so much more meaningful to have a loved one marrying them. And I can tell you that Dr. Williams, Darryll's father, did a wonderful job! After the ceremony, the newlyweds agreed to step outside for a few pictures, even though it was freezing... They never complained, and went along with my suggestions. Darryll and Carol were so nice (and did you see the bride's shoes? It's sparkly with high heels, so you know I'd love them!). I wish them to live Happily Ever After!
It was so special to have the Groom's father "marrying" them.
I am a French expat living in the USA, more precisely in beautiful Virginia. I took 8 years of Spanish but can't speak it. I love pretty stationery, real books, high heels (even if I rarely wear them), purple is my favorite color... if you couldn't tell!. And photography is my passion :)
